While looking at Gwynedd Archaeological Trust's records of manganese mine
sites in the former county of Merionethshire, I've noticed that a couple of
manganese mines are associated with what are described as sulphur mines.
Can anybody tell me anything about sulphur mining in the UK and what other
minerals it was associated?
Thanks
Dave
