When the new system is up and running it will have all of
our data on it - those counties that were published and
those that weren't. The new data for Caernarvon, Merioneth
and Anglesey should be fairly reliable, because we actually
edited that ready for publication, and then ran it. But the
data for some of the other counties (eg radnor/Gloucester
etc) will be crude and unpolished. You'll have to make what
you will of that - but frankly, it doesn't amount to much.
If you would like to see a crude early version of what we
have been doing - go to the Mining History newtork welcome
page. Go down to Exeter Mining History Group and click on
the full stop at the end of that line. NB DO NOT RELY ON
THE ACCURACY OF THIS DATA - but it is a useful finding aid!.
