Hi Martin,
This programme (BBC) has been on twice in my area the last time being about
six months ago. The series I think was called British Landscapes and this
episode dealt with the Yorkshire Dales, lead mining, dry stone walling,
barns, field works, ancient settlements, farming, lime kilns and charcoal
burning. The programme presenter and a guide with camera crew entered the
level (they didn't, say were it was) and recorded different features with in
the mine (the give away was when they emerge from the level to look straight
across at Faggergill and Whaw village, I visited the level about two years
ago and it portal was quite small and two months ago the portal was nearly
open to it,s full horse level thats why I knew there had been activited
there.
Regards
Barry
