Alison Henesey, the librarian at the National Coal Mining Museum for England
(NCME) near Wakefield, has asked me to remind mining historians of the
extensive collection of material available in their Library. If you're
interested in research the history of coal mining in England, or wish to
access assets like the Mining Journal, the Library is open throughout the
week and from 10-4pm on Saturday and Sunday of the first full weekend of the
month - no need to make an appointment.
Details on their web site at http://www.ncm.org
