Hi Belinda,
We are currently running a randomised controlled trial designed to evaluate
the impact of a 'decision-aid' I developed for women who are facing the
choice between VBAC and elective caesarean. The study is underway in NSW,
Australia and some details can be found on the Australian Perinatal Trials
Registry http://www.ctc.usyd.edu.au/6registry/impact2.htm
In addition to studies examining the effectiveness of specific education
programmes designed to increase VBAC rates, there is also some interesting
work by Carol McClain on the issue of VBAC and women's decisions for birth
after caesarean.
Best Wishes
