This new role at the Science Museum provides an ideal opportunity for
candidates with a developed interest in the history and current trends in
computing, computers and information technology. The role involves using the
Museum's world class computing collections to communicate with a wide range
of audiences via a range of media, including exhibitions, web pages,
publications and broadcast media.
Educated to Masters level or equivalent, you will have excellent research
skills, the ability to write for all audiences and a passion for
communicating via a range of media. Ideally with Museum experience, or an
awareness of effective collections management practice, you will possess
good interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to work well in as
part of a team and with a broad range of audiences.
This is an ideal opportunity for a proactive and committed individual to
make a significant contribution to developing understanding of the past,
present and future of information and computing.
