Having won substantial funding under the second phase of the Support
Programme for University Research (SPUR2), the University is establishing a
major new research centre within the Faculty of Arts:
The Centre for Media Research
The centre is intended to build upon the proven strengths of research in
media studies, build critical mass and stimulate research of national and
international excellence.
Applications are therefore invited for the following posts.

available to the successful candidates according to their skills and
experience.
For all other posts starting salaries will be in the following ranges:
Salaries: Readers/Senior Lecturers: £35,251 - £39,958
Lecturer: £22,191 - £33,679
Research Associates: £18,265 - £20,311
