The Humanities Advanced Technology and Information Institute at the
University of Glasgow is pleased to announce that it is now accepting
bookings for its Sixth International Digitisation Summer School, 6th July -
11th July 2003. The Summer School is relevant to all those involved in
creating or managing digitisation initiatives in the cultural heritage
sector and beyond. The Summer School is a unique course that provides a
complete overview of digitisation from surveying, selecting and prioritising
material, through capture techniques and metadata, to evaluation, delivery
and preservation. The Summer School also provides a unique opportunity to
discuss and share experience with fellow practitioners from around the
