the springfield museum, springfield, oregon, usa is completing a CD
presentation of a portion of the logging history photo collection. the
CD exhibit is comprised of still photographs with explanatory text and a
10 minute quicktime movie wherein a local historian presents artifacts
and tells what they are and how they were used in logging practice.
the format is html . production was in house: it is a project i have
undertaken as part of my degree work in museum studies at the university
of oregon. my work focuses on how to simplify digitization projects so
that they can be accomplished by the untrained, volunteer staff one
finds at most small museums in oregon.
i hope this information is useful to you,
