EDITOR (NEW MEDIA)
Salary in the region of £19,700 - £24,000 p.a.
You will join the dynamic and friendly New Media team to develop a range of
multimedia, to help visitors to enjoy the collection to the full. Initially
working on its major Micro Gallery project, an exciting update of the
Gallery's original,
ground-breaking system, you will play a key role in creating and managing
the development of engaging content about the Gallery's permanent
collection, making full use of up to the minute new media.
You will be highly skilled at writing in a concise and engaging way for a
broad audience and able to edit text quickly and accurately. A demonstrable
ability to think creatively about bringing works of art to life through new
media is a key
requirement for this challenging and rewarding post. You also will have the
ability to manage large amounts of content in a variety of media, working
within constraints of resources, time and budget to achieve project
milestones.
You must have a minimum of a first degree, a passion for communicating, two
to three years' experience of developing attractive and stimulating
material for a diverse audience and experience of managing others.
