Dear All,
The popular 'Libraries of London Series' continues with our
special Christmas Event to be held at The Tate Library and Archive,
Hyman Kreitman Research Centre, Millbank, Thursday 18th December 2003,
2:30pm-5:30pm.
This event will include a selection from the highlights of The
Tate Library and Archive special collections, a tour of the stores and
holdings, ending with wine and mince pies in Studio 1. Guests are also
invited to tour the galleries of Tate Britain.
The Tate advise that if at all possible please travel very
light, as all coats and bags (including handbags) will need to be left
in the cloakroom.
Please come to the Manton entrance, which is the new entrance in
Atterbury Street, and is the first to be seen if coming from Pimlico
tube. Turn right at the Manton Information Desk and the cloakroom is
just there. UCR guests will be met there at 2:30pm
Please do contact either [log in to unmask] at Senate House,
University of London or [log in to unmask] at The Tate to
book a place or for further details.
