Can you help?
The Web Usability Partnership undertakes web site testing for Government and
private sector organisation websites and we are looking to recruit testers.
At the moment we are seeking a librarian from a business or commercial
library with a knowledge of British Library Document Supply services, who
would be willing to help.
The research is very simple. It involves attending a studio just off Oxford
Street in Central London, and spending an hour (maximum) looking at the web
site and answering questions about it. There's no prep work in advance, and
no subsequent commitments.
Why should anyone want to do this? Well:
· We can pay you a small amount for the time involved (£50)
· It will be helping to improve a web site that should be valuable to people
like the tester.
· And it's quite fun!
The research will take in the morning of Monday 17th November.
If you or any of your fellow librarians are interested in participating,
please contact me (Avril Swift - details below) by telephone or email and I
will explain further what is involved.
Many thanks.
