I've forwarded to Solo and Workplace too - it may be of interest to some people even though it's short notice

Baroness Blackstone, Minister of State for the Arts, is coming to speak here
at the Kenneth Clark Lecture Theatre, Courtauld Institute, Somerset House on
Wednesday 19 February at 7pm. She will be talking about the Government's
Policy for Literature, with particular reference to the government's
strategy document on the future of libraries, published yesterday. Her talk
will be followed by half an hour's questions from the audience. We feel that
this event, for which we will make no charge, will be of interest to anybody
involved directly or indirectly in public libraries, and we would be
grateful if anybody who would like a seat would let us know at the above
number as soon as possible.
Thank you very much
