> Library and information services across the country have until 17 February to enter the prestigious CILIP/ LiS Libraries Change Lives Award. Established in 1992, the award recognises innovative projects that promote social inclusion, lifelong learning and reader development.

> Libraries Change Lives is run by CILIP and its Community Services Group, and is sponsored by the Library + information Show. The Award ceremony will take place during the Show at ExCeL in London> '> s Docklands, 30 April + 1 May 2003. Roger McGough, one of Britain> '> s best-known poets will present the winning project with a trophy and £4,000. Two highly commended projects will receive a certificate and £1,000.
