Apologies for the multiple subject line and for the mundane nature of
these queries but I'd be grateful for suggestions.

1. Personal Copiers
We've just had a student bring in a personal photocopier (one of the
printer/copier/scanners you can buy for £75) to make photocopies as it's
cheaper than our charges. He used his own consumables, behaved
considerately in terms of disturbing others.
I admire the initiative, can see such uses of technology becoming
commonplace in the future, and can't think of a reason to prevent it
How have others responded to this situation?
2. If anyone has reasonably recently installed a PA system and is happy
with it I'd be glad of a brief description and details of the supplier.
3. Our photocopying service makes manual and electric staplers
available for users. They're in heavy demand and we have continual
problems with their being overloaded and damaged. We've tried various
models with no great success. Can anyone recommend robust ones?
