Please could anyone give me some advice on taking renewals over the 'phone
from someone other than the Library member. Does this contravene the Data
Protection Act?
If you do accept renewals would you give any further information e.g.fines
incurred and the details of items reserved that couldn't be renewed.
If you do not, are there any mitigating circustances where you make an
exception e.g. student is ill or in hospital, partners ringing for each
other, parents of students under 18, carers of students with disabilities...
