The Centre for Information Quality Management is pleased
to announce the publication of its latest report.
The CIQM 2003 Website Quality Survey
can be found on the newly launched site of the parent
company, Information Automation Ltd at
http://www.i-a-l.co.uk
from a message on the front page or under the CIQM menu.
The report, which is available in summary on the site
and as a Word file to be downloaded, details the
analysis of 600 Websites against a selected subset of
quality and evaluation criteria. None of the sites
tested passed all of the tests and one failed on every
count.
Note:
CIQM was set up in 1993 under the auspices of the (then)
Library Association and Institute of Information
Scientists to monitor database quality. CIQM's remit now
includes any electronic informational resources.
CIQM is run by Information Automation Limited, the
specialist research, training and consultancy company
based in mid-Wales.
