CIRCULATION LIBRARIAN WITH RESPONSIBILITY FOR ACCESS AND MEMBERSHIP POLICIES
AND LIBRARY SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATION

We are looking for an experienced graduate-qualified librarian to manage and
develop library circulation, membership and access systems and services. You
will be responsible for all circulation activities, including access control
and inter-library loans, as well as for development of library membership
policy in the context of the Institute's national and international role in
the education community, and management of electronic resource
authentication. You will additionally provide support to the Systems
Librarian in the administration of the Unicorn Library Management System and
other library systems.
You must have suitable experience of an automated system in an academic or
other large library, especially in the areas of circulation and systems
administration, along with excellent IT skills and appropriate management
experience in an academic library. Operational knowledge of library access
systems and inter-library loans procedures are desirable.
Salary will be in the range £21,125 to £27,339 per annum, plus £2,134 London
Allowance per annum.
