What does it cover?
At the end of the day delegates will
* be familiar with the application of AACR to music
* understand the nature of music titles and media
* know how to construct catalogue records for music materials
* be familiar with the principal cataloguing tools
* know where to go to find further information
Who should attend?
The course is ideal for any member of staff with responsibility for
cataloguing music materials. It is assumed that delegates will have
some experience of basic cataloguing but no specific music knowledge
is assumed.
Delegates in the past have included those from public libraries, from
academic music libraries, from music retailers, from broadcasting
organisations, from opera houses and orchestras and from general
cataloguing departments.
