Hi Sean,
We received information about the JISC/OUP offer for 2003 from Swets
Blackwell back at the beginning of December 2002. We were asked to note
that the offer hadn't yet been approved by JISC, but that OUP had asked
Swets Blackwell to distribute this offer in advance of the JISC's
confirmation, which they must have assumed would be faster forthcoming
that it has turned out to be. According to the JISC site the offer is
still at the contract stage. It certainly demonstrates the lack of speed
with which JISC is moving post NESLI!!
Cheers
Lesley

Sara,
I would be very interested to hear what information have you received
about a JISC/OUP licence for 2003 ? We haven't received any further
information other than that an offer had been accepted (by the JISC
Journals Working
Group) and was at the contract stage (lis-nesli-reps 21 November 2002).
All information about JISC electronic journal negotiations will be
disseminated via the lis-nesli-reps list and the JISC e-journals website
www.nesli.ac.uk , which are maintained by MIMAS on behalf of JISC. The
e-journals web site is now fully interlinked with the Collections
section of the new JISC web site.
I would advise also subscribing to jisc-e-collections and to chest-news
if you do not already do so.
best wishes
Sean Dunne
