Hi,
Just an additional comment on the purchasing Lancet archive articles.
When I went to see how much the articles cost I entered ScienceDirect as
a guest user not as recognised SD customer. At work today I am entering
as a normal SD customer within our institutional IP range, and all I am
presented with is an abstract, with no opportunity of purchasing the
article at all.

Hi Nick and others,
Never heard the original item, so can't comment, but I thought I'd go
and select an article in the very first issue on Lancet in 1823 on SD,
and see what happened next. When I went to access the full text, I was
presented with a choice to click the register to purchase button below
to purchase this article, but the cost was $30.00 not 30 pence!
I tried another article in 1987, just in case the first article in
Lancet was a "special offer" price, but the cost again was $30.00!
Did the programme get it wrong?
