Dear All-
We are currently working towards supporting ATHENS authentication on Ingenta
Select, and hope to have this functionality in place by the end of March. I
will post to the list again to let you know when the service is live.

For the time being, we are linking to both services. Although we feel that
the Ingenta Select user interface is easier to search and browse, it is
unlikely that we will decide to link to Ingenta Select until it becomes
ATHENS authenticated.

Subject: ingenta and ingenta select
Dear all,
Has anyone yet made a decision which one of these services to link their
titles to? Did anything affect your decision (such as access via Athens,
user interface, search and browse options)? We have traditionally used both
ingenta and Catchword at Leeds, and have always thought the Catchword
interface was a good one. Since Catchword changed its name we have had
queries from confused users who don't know what the difference is or why the
same titles appear in both places. ingenta helpdesk has told me that the
Catchword/IS interface is going to be the preferred one, so I feel we
shouldn't abandon it altogether - does anyone have thoughts on this?
thanks
Louise
