I just sent this reply to John, but I guess I should send it to the

These bits don't count from what Marion Huckle from CILIP said last
week... however - if you were to try and use them to hide vast swathes
of content (ie: footnotes taking up half a page etc.) you are very
likely to get your report returned...
so be warned... good luck with your chartership!
