Chartership, and Beyond : what Chartership can do for You!

This half-day event considers the importance of continuous professional development, both in preparing for chartership, and throughout your career. It is aimed at those who have embarked on the chartership process, or who are thinking about it.
The day's speakers are
Susan Kay, Professional Advisor, Membership, Careers & Qualifications Department at CILIP, and Dr Jean Yeoh, ISS Corporate Services Teamleader at King's College London, and Chair of CPD25, Training and Development for HE Libraries in the London Region. Small group discussions are an integral part of the afternoon, and will be facilitated by the registration liaison officers for the North & South Thames Divisions, Wendy Lynwood and Gerry Power.

The Senate House of the University of London is a tall multi-storey building, on the west side of Russell Square in Bloomsbury, central London. You can enter Senate House from Malet Street or from Russell Square. Please note that tea / coffee will be available, but lunch is not provided at this event. Macmillan's restaurant, in the ground floor of Senate House, serves a range of hot and cold lunches and sandwiches at reasonable prices. The afternoon's event will begin promptly at 1.30 pm
