People who cannot be authenticated as belonging to your trust must be deleted straight away otherwise we could be in breach of contract. I would advise that you then email the person in question as Liz suggested to find out whether they are a legitimate user or not.
Colin has been trying to sort out with Athens not allowing the submission of registration without the full address and is currently chasing them regarding this.

Subject: Athens Self-Registrators
Dear All
I've just received notification from Athens of a self-registrator on my patch, so to speak. The person has furnished minimal details but gives her incomplete address as local (in Leigh) and an email address I've identified as belonging to Glasgow Caledonian University. She gives no info on dept/position etc. She's not listed as PCT staff in Personnel. Am I supposed to email her direct to try to clarify her connection with the PCT or excommunicate her at once with extreme prejudice (and email her to that effect - or does that happen automatically just like account creation?)? Either way, this is a drag. What's the cheerful way for handling DIYers?
David
