Hi Jiri,
sorry for leaving your mail unanswered for such a long time and
thanks for sending the information.
I realized by now that you are not on the rollout list and that is
probably the reason why you missed some of the information during this
week. At the end of the mail I have added the LCG1-1_0_0 anouncement that
I sent to the list. I have contacted the managers of the list and hope
that they will add you.
When I refered to the DN I wanted from your host certificate the
line that looks like:
Subject: O=Grid, O=CERN, OU=cern.ch, CN=host/lxshare0380.cern.ch
About edg1.4 -> lcg1-1_0_0 transition.
There is no way to do an upgrade between the two.
The currently only supported way to get a site running LCG1-1_0_0
is basically the following:
Install (as you did) a LCFGng server.
Reinstall the service nodes as described in the
installation guide for the release LCG1-1_0_0 the
nodes and the operating system. For this release, as
agreed with the GDB we don't provide means to do it in a different
way.
About installing only the OS with LCGng and the middleware by hand.
This is a very strange idea. Since installing the OS by standard
means is much easier and LCFG is worth the trouble only if
you get the benefit of configuring the grid middleware through
it. There is work done to do it the other way around. Install
the OS as you like and add and config. the middleware via
LCFGng. This procedure is called LCFGng-lite.
For this release you should go step by step through what is written
in the guide. You find the guide in our CVS repository
under:
http://lcgapp.cern.ch/cgi-bin/viewcvs/viewcvs.cgi/lcg1/?cvsroot=lcgdeploy
select the tag LCG1-1_0_0
and read the file lcg1-notes.txt

p.s. I'll forward your request for write access to the PRAGUE CVS
directory.
Here the mail I sent on Monday:

Subject: LCG1-1_0_0 is out
Dear LCG1 Partner Sites,
after some weeks in which the initial release of LCG1 has been installed
in several sites (9 in total) and everyone being in it has learned
one or two lessons about getting a grid site up and running it is now
time for the next step.
Which for us is upgrading LCG1 to LCG1-1_0_0
This release is now based on a set of middleware which has more
functionality
and is more robust than what we had before.
To start the installation read the release notes in lcg1/lcg1-notes.txt.
This file has significally changed, about 80% of the text is now
different.
It is realy required that you read this, even if you just have installed
an older version.
If you are looking for a manual installation you have to wait for some
more time, sorry, but we havn't found time to work on this, but this has
high priority for us.

p.s. the goal is to have the 9 sites upgraded by the end of the week
