Hi Jason.
As it says in the lgc1-notes.txt file associated to the LCG1-1_1_1 release:
Update procedure from release LCG1-1_1_0 to LCG1-1_1_1
------------------------------------------------------
Before updating the nodes
-------------------------
- Modifications to your site-cfg.h file:
#define SITE_EDG_VERSION LCG1-1_1_1
#define CE_IP_RUNTIMEENV LCG-1 ALICE-3.09.06 ATLAS-6.0.4 CMKIN-1.1.0
CMKIN-VALID CMSIM-VALID
- Node configuration files should not need any change.
Update Procedure
----------------
Run mkxprof (or do_mkxprof) for your CE, BDII, and WN nodes. You may want to
verify that nodes are actually updated by looking in the /var/obj/log/client
file on the nodes themselves.
After updating the nodes
------------------------
On ComputingElement: after making sure that all Atlas rpms have been
installed
on all your WNs, login on the CE as root and run the infoproviders object to
publish the new ATLAS-6.0.4 tag. The command to do this is
> /etc/obj/infoproviders start
On BDII: if you have not added the settings for the lcgsouth region,
yet, then
you have to apply the procedure to create the
/opt/edg/etc/bdii-cron.conf file
as described in the BDII configuration paragraph above.
Cheers
Emanuele
