Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Business Economics
Loughborough University Business School
£35,251 - £39,958 or £22,191 - £25,451/£26,270 - £33,679 per annum (pay
award pending)
Following the highly successful first stage of our expansion early in 2003
in which we recruited nine new academic and academic related staff, we are
now looking for an ambitious Business Economist to share in our growing
success.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established, lively and high-
achieving Banking and Economics Group. The group includes economists and
strategists with a broad range of research interests. The Business School's
ethos also stresses the direct relevance to business situations of its
work. The post will, therefore, require the teaching of economics,
particularly, macro and international economics, within a business context
on a range of Business School programmes.
You will have a research interest, which complements the research themes of
the Accounting Finance and Banking Research Group, and the Banking Centre.
This includes, inter alia, small business finance, entrepreneurship and
innovation in business, competition and regulation of financial services,
etc.
