PLAT2004 is the second in the international conference series
sponsored by LTSN Psychology. The conference will serve as a
forum for the discussion and exchange of knowledge and practice
within all aspects of Psychology undergraduate and postgraduate
teaching, learning and assessment.
The conference will bring together those involved with teaching and
learning in Psychology, especially:
*Lecturers and teachers of psychology in Higher Education
*Researchers in the teaching of psychology
*Support staff and staff developers and working with psychology
departments
*Organisations implementing policy related to teaching in higher
education
*Developers and publishers of psychology resources
Proposals are invited for papers, panels, workshops and
posters/demonstrations related to at least one of the five conference
pathways:
1. Aspects of effective practice in learning, teaching and assessment
in psychology
2. Research into the learning and teaching of psychology and into
teaching methodologies
3. Generic issues of concern to psychology departments
4. The impact on psychology of national Higher Education policy
issues
5. Exhibition
