Job title: Customer Support Engineer
We are looking for an enthusiastic, pro-active person to join our Customer
Support team.
You will have a background in GIS, Computer Sciences, IT or a related
discipline. We would expect you to have experience in some or all of the
following.
„« GIS packages eg. Autodesk, Geomedia, MapInfo
„« Programming languages e.g. Java
„« xml, html, uml
„« SQL, PL/SQL
„« Databases e.g. Oracle
Due to the customer-facing nature of this position we expect you to have
well-developed communication skills. Delivering presentations and writing
reports are essential.
Working as part of a team, your responsibilities will include:
„« Responding to customer queries
„« Testing new versions of software
„« Training customers
„« Installations
„« Demonstrations of products and new functionality
This position is ideal for a newly qualified graduate or for someone
looking to develop their experience within an expanding company.
