Based at Woodhill House, Aberdeen, required in the ICT Information Systems
section to play a leading role in the promotion, delivery and maintenance
of ICT solutions using GIS technology. Involves a wide range of duties
required to support existing GIS applications and also lead new projects to
implement GIS solutions within the Council. Must have at least two years
practical experience of GIS, ideally using GGP or GE Smallworld software
and a good working knowledge of current Ordnance Survey digital data
products including their application within GIS for cartographic purposes.
Experience of ICT/GIS project management and knowledge of current
GIS-related issues and standards highly desirable. Must be educated to at
least HNC level or equivalent and be competent in the use of standard
office productivity software. Current driving licence and access to
