dear list,
i agree to the most of the people that we all have to start somewhere
for atleast to get an experience in the initial level of Graduation.
i would like to introduce myself, this is ramakanth boga doing MSc.
Environmental management. i'll be completing MSc by the end of Oct of this
year.
its really hardstep to enter initially. As far as my point of view
its worth to do GIS techician job eventhough the pay is initially very low
i.e £6/hr. its true every graduate must start somewhere to get experience.
Every company need experience people for their developement, then where
is a pathway to recent Graduate student.
without any entry for a recent Graduate student how he get an experience
and how he can apply for Experienced positions.
so, someone somewhere must give a chance to the entry level graduate
alleast to get an experience. they will work hard to get knowledge and
experience and it will be definietely useful for the company developement
also.
you know i hv nt started my project yet but i am doing my placement in
Durham city council as GIS techinician. important thing is its a UNPAID
job. still i am happy that at least i am getting experience on my subject.
definitely it will be useful in further.
so, my primary view is never think of pay when you are Graduated
recently. Start somewhere at least to get experience and payment
automatically will come as and when you are experiencing in your field.
Any of your view could be most welcome on my point of views.
bye to all
ramakanth
