RESEARCH ASSOCIATE:
HEALTH GEOGRAPHY (ACCESS TO CANCER SERVICES)
Applications are invited for the position of Research Associate in the
School of Environmental Sciences (research rated 5*). The post is available
for 3 years, from March 2003, to work on a government funded project
studying the relationship between access to treatment services and
management and health outcomes of cancer.
The successful candidate will have good organisational skills and the
ability to work independently. A postgraduate degree in a relevant subject
or a good first degree with additional research experience, together with
expertise in the statistical analysis of data and the use of ESRI GIS
packages are essential.
Salary will be on the Research and Analogous 1A salary scale in the range
£18,265 to £20,311.
