Dear All
I'm sure that you have all heard of this excellent exhibition which has been
travelling the UK since the summer Cambridge Conference. It currently
resides at the :
Atlantis Gallery,
The Truman Brewery
146 Brick Lane, E1 6RU
Until the 12 of Nov 2003 and will then be moving onto Manchester (the Museum
of Science and Industry, M3 4FP).
I cannot recommend it highly enough, it is a blend of culture, philosophy,
religion, art and geodesy on a scale and in intensity which I doubt has ever
been seen before in this country where the 'black' arts of mapping/geodesy
are unknown outside circles such as these 'virtual' distribution lists.
More information can be found at www.rics.org/geo or at www.thegreatarc.net
Give your students a treat, bring them along and show them the world...
regards
james
