Hi - to get the mid-sagittal:
slicer <inputimage> -x 0.5 midsag.gif
change -x to -y for coronal.
To overlay images onto the highres image, assuming that you have used
FLIRT from inside the FEAT GUI, you can do all of this with the
Renderhighres GUI.
