Hello all - we have a request. We are developing an extension to BET that
attempts to provide mesh-based surfaces of the skull (inner and outer) and
scalp, as well as the existing brain surface. Initial results look
promising. Best results are obtained if you have high quality T1 AND T2
images to feed in.
To do some more testing, we need to see, from a few different scanners,
high quality matching pairs of T1 and T2 images. We need whole-head
images with voxels say <2mm on each side. If anyone is able to give us
examples that would be lovely - please put them on a web/ftp site and
email me directly.
In most cases there is no useful distinction between brain surface and
inner skull surface, but there is in the case of extreme atrophy -
therefore we would particularly welcome examples of this.
Finally, if people have matching CT images that would help us a lot in our
development as well.
Many thanks, Steve.
