Steve B. here: Steve V. you are missing the point. Lomborg represents The
Skeptical Environmentalist as being a representation of the 'real' state of
the world in terms of science, not statistics. If SE were merely an exercise
in statistics, there probably wouldn't be much of an issue, although I've
seen some statiticans who are pretty jaundiced at SE.
Lomborg uses statistics to make conclusions about scientific issues and as
such he has to expect scientific inspection.
