Dear all,
You might recall that I put out an e-mail on the list asking for
opinions on a newsletter for the group. The response was excellent and
there is clearly a lot of enthusiasm for the idea.
However, now is the time to translate that enthusiasm into action.
I am looking for contributors to the newsletter.
So if you are:
* attending a conference/workshop that you think would interest
the group and would like to write up the main points
* working on an e-learning project in partnership with others
(particularly cross-domain) in the cultural/heritage sector and can
detail the main points
* keen to do some book reviews (I have a copy of 'E-Learning and
Teaching in Library and Information Services' by Barbara Allen that
could be used as a starter)
* involved in creating e-learning materials for particular groups
(children, adult basic skills, English as a Second Language users etc.)
and would like to share some hints/tips with the group
* willing to do an overview of websites that cover a particular
part of e-learning (For instance, using PDFs as a learning tool)
* using e-learning as a training tool for staff in your
organisation and would like to let people know what and how
Then please reply to me off-list.
Your response will determine both the size and the timing of the first
newsletter.
Best wishes,
Colin Hynson
