The company in question want stringing up! I have had around ten spam
messages from them yesterday, several of which went to special unix
accounts (mailer-daemon, qmailr, games) - none of which are published
globally, but when you visit the website, their server does an ident
connection to the server, which is certainly how they got those
accounts. They also tried to send the messages to gibberish addresses
at my domain (e.g, [log in to unmask], obviously forcing a
delivery failure notice to go out, then a message going to the
postmaster because the account is overquota. The domain
accessaudio.co.uk is forwarded to a Tiscalli account, which is why the
mail bounces. They have probably done a spam run yesterday, and
filled their account up with delivery failure messages etc. I am in
the process of sending a complaint to their domain provider, although
Tiscalli don't act on complaints very much, if I can get them
listening through the domain provider this is something.
Andrew.
