LECTURESHIP IN CRIMINOLOGY (TEACHING-ONLY) (A04/02)
£22,191 - £25,451 pro-rata
The School of Social Policy, Sociology and Social Research is one of the
largest departments of its type in the UK and one of only two in the country
to receive a 5* rating in Social Policy. Student demand for criminology at
Kent is buoyant and the School wishes to add to its current group of
criminologists. The post is open to applicants with specialisms in any area
of criminology or criminal justice. The School has a thriving criminological
research culture and the Kent Criminal Justice Centre is based within it.
You should have a higher degree in Criminology (or a related subject) or
should be nearing completion of a PhD. You should be able contribute to the
following criminology modules: Introduction to Criminology, Sociology of
Deviance and Criminal Justice in Modern Britain.
The post is available on a 0.5 FTE and fixed-term basis for eight months.
Starting date: 1 September 2003 or as soon as possible thereafter.
