Second CALL FOR POSTERS
=======================
Following from last year's success we have once again decided to
include the poster sessions in the AI-2003 conference. It is hoped
that this will be a useful opportunity for researchers and
postgraduate students attending the conference to present their
"Work In Progress", enabling them to discuss their evolving
projects with others in the field, gain feedback and expand publicity
for their work.
Those presenting posters will be provided with a space (2*2m) for
their poster in the main area used for refreshments. There may be
a limited opportunity to provide additional desktop space for laptops
or documentation. In addition to the tea and coffee breaks, there
will be two 45 minute "Poster Session" slots dedicated for poster
presenters. All poster presenters will be invited to contribute an
article to Expert Update
http://www.csc.liv.ac.uk/~frans/expertUpdate.html
the BCS-SGAI magazine and a cash prize will be awarded to the
best poster selected by conference delegates.
If you wish to present a poster at AI-2003, then please provide the
AI-2003 Poster Session Organiser (contact address below) with an
extended abstract including title, author, keywords and description
of your work. This should not exceed 5 pages and will be included
in the "registration pack".
The conference paper formatting specifications also applies for
extended abstracts. The preferred submission format is PDF but
we are happy to accept PS and Word documents.
Submission Deadline: 12/09/2003
Notification of acceptance: 04/10/2003
Students are eligible for a reduced rate registration fee. Further
details regarding the conference, registration, hotels etc. can be
found on the conference WWW page at http://www.bcs-
