Dear All,
We at Liverpool are grappling with all that HESA NCB returned courses
entail!
We have been thinking that it would be useful to share within the HE
community some of the data not provided by HESA published reports, for
example initially data for individual institutions re:
Subject areas
Number of courses
Number of students
We are suggesting that, after the HESA 2002/3 return has been put to bed in
September, we would be willing to share this data with any other HE
institution that wishes to reciprocate.
My questions for those willing to participate are:
1. Would you be willing for me to collate the received data and share with
the other respondents or would you prefer to keep the info between our two
institutions?
2. If in principle you are willing to share with other respondents would
you have any concerns about sharing with direct competitors e.g. another
HEI in close geographical proximity?
3. Would you be willing for this info to be shared outside the CE/CPD
constituency, for example with other parts of our institutions? Or would
you wish to info to be kept within the CE/CPD constituency?
If you are willing to participate could you please email me your contact
details.
I will then collate the list of those willing to participate and send it
out to all respondents. This will allow respondents to reconsider your
answers to the above questions before we finally agree on the final format
of sharing the data.
Regards, Alison
