Friends,
I just heard from Oxford University Press that my new book, THEOLOGICAL INCORRECTNESS: WHY RELIGIOUS PEOPLE BELIEVE WHAT THEY SHOULDN'T, will be available in January (and so can be used in Spring courses). You can either contact Brian Hughes at OUP <[log in to unmask]> for course adoption, or order single copies from sites like Amazon.com.
Also, I want to remind you that the annual meeting of the MAAR is once again in April in Chicago. As chair of the Cognitive Science of Religion section (the only one of its kind in North America!), I invite you to submit a proposal for a presentation of your choice. The deadline for submission is December 1. Remember, this conference is a nice place to introduce new research and, of course, to get together for some fun in Chicago.
Best wishes,
Jason
