DATA Annual Conference 2004
CALL FOR PAPERS
An opportunity to contribute to research at the DATA Annual Conference
2004!
Conference theme “Developing Creativity and Innovation through the Design
and Technology experience”. We are initially asking for outlines of
intentions. Whilst we would hope that many of the papers will contribute to
the overall theme, DATA will accept papers on other areas of interest that
contribute to a wider understanding of students’ design and technology
experience. However, sponsored keynotes should aim to broadly address the
conference theme.

Updated details will be posted on the main association website at
www.data.org.uk Design and Technology Research
Research papers would be expected to make an original contribution to
design and technology education research. Such contributions should be
based on evidence (e.g. newly acquired data, historical records, published
work). They will be ‘blind’ refereed independently by two referees and the
contributions to the advancement of our understanding and the evidence on
which it is based will be assessed. The last date for paper outlines to be
submitted is 30th January 2003. If the outline is accepted, then the
completed paper will be required by 28th March. It will again be refereed
and if accepted, it will be published in the Conference Book.
