Hi, All,
I was using both WinBugs code and PKBugs to identify a 2-compartment PK
model. The interesting thing is that under same conditions:
parameterization, variance model, priors, initial values etc., they got
pretty different results especially on the variance parameters, and the
running time taken by WinBugs is almost 60 times longer than that of
PKBugs. Compared with 2-stage analysis of each individual, the result from
PKBugs seems more reasonable.
In the WinBugs code, i used the analytical solution of 2 differentiation
equations directly. So I'm wondering what's the fundamental differences
between the implementations in WinBugs code and PKBugs. Does PKBugs have
different assumption?
Any idea or suggestions on reference will be highly appreciated. Thank you.
