I am using WinBUGS doing longitudinal data analysis. I found a conflict
between WinBUGS1.3 and 1.4. The strange problem are as follows:
I wrote a set of WinBUGS1.4 programs for the
same longitudinal data set using a set of nested models. They could ran
in WinBUGS1.4 before July 28, 2003. I tried to rerun those programs in
WinBUGS1.4 these days in October. None of them can run. The error message
is that 'index out of range'.
The funny thing is that those same programs after changing the inverse
function syntax part only can run in WinBUGS1.3. But the results are
consistent to each other. Does anybody have any idea about this problem?
I am looking forward to hearing from you soon since it is part of my
dissertation work. Your quick help is greatly appreciated.
