PS Patrick
And, phew, I did write 'brumous' in the original text. At which point I will
duck out of this discussion before Robin Hamilton wakes up in his cave and
buries us all under 20,000 citations about the word's derivation.

My apologies, Patrick, there was a typo in my last: the word is 'brumous'
not 'bromous', meaning foggy or misty or wintry-rainy. I haven't checked
back to see if I repeated that error in the poem yet, but it was that that I
meant. Rather than the 'stink' of another vowelled word's meaning!
