Hi Marcus,
your appallingly ill-judged attack on Alison's writing smacks of nothing
more than petty-minded sour grapes. Its rhetorical mode is simply peevish
playing to the gallery. And another thing . . . and another thing . . .
bluster bluster. She hasn't given you the satisfaction that you demanded and
so you have seen fit to paint her writing process in the most derogatory
terms possible, for you. Dountless you can go on and on and on about how you
have asked questions that she has not deigned to answer. Consequenlty you
are now using her like a ventriloquuist's doll for your obsessions and
putting words into into her mouth. It's getting sickening now, following on
from the various sexist jibes itemised last week. I don't care how much
others might think that your questions have a point. This petulant rant
borders on character defamation, since it suggests that she is really no
more than the proverbial monkey at a keyboard that might generate
Shakespeare given the time and the batteries. When did she ever actually say
that she was writing words pretty much at random, for example? I suggest
that you either properly substantiate the characterisation that you are
making here through citation from Alison's actual posts or apologise or
unsubscribe.
