E V E R Y T H I N G !!!
This is why I now have a frightening number of users on the system. And in
answer to your next question, no, I don't think any of us have a good policy
for when we get rid of people, but the archives should hold a few
descriptions of what different places do.
Having said that, it's a while since I tested it, and I've no idea what
really happens in 6, since I've spent all summer fighting the integration
tools, what used to happen I think, is that content in a students ddb gets
lost, but content which has been 'sent' to an instructor and remains under
their control, i.e. not yet been released back to students would stay. THis
is why there was uproar in the move to 6 where in such cases, if the
instructor was also released from the course, the ddb content was
inaccessible as it had no 'owner'.
So assume everything. Assessments definitely. DDB content in student
ownership yes, staff ownership possibly not.

Subject: Student Accounts
Hi,
If you delete a students account what information goes with it?
I know that they will be unenrolled from their course but what about the
information they have submitted through assessments etc, and information in
their digital drop box. Does all that disappear as well or is that type of
information held at course level?
