Dear Everyone.
I am down to give a paper on Teaching of Biomimetics at the September
Biomimetics meeting in Reading. I could of course talk about my own
experiences but I'm not sure I could hold the audiences interest nor use
the opportunity to its full potential.
So can I ask you all about your experiences of teaching Biomimetics in
whatever form to University students ?
What material you teach and to whom, how you teach it, what your aims
are and any other thoughts you may have.
If you have any figures/illustrations to help explain your teaching or
indeed used in it, please send them to me too. Full credit will be given
to authors of course.
I think replies to me could well go via this discussion group (I think
it's a topic of interest to most) but certainly any large attached files
(images, powerpoit stuff etc) should go to me only and not be posted to
everyone in this discussion group.
I'll collate this and see if I can draw any patterns out of it.
Hopefully we can use the slot for this paper as something of a
discussion forum instead of listening to me drone on for the full 20
mins, ...far more productive...
Best regards,
Chris Smith
